Maintenance Technician

Allied Reliability is looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician to work for one of our premier clients in Birmingham, AL. This position is responsible for performing a wide range of repair tasks including maintenance and repairs on various pieces of manufacturing equipment.

Job Responsibilities:

The Maintenance Technician Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, stick and mig welding, cutting torch, troubleshooting and repair of production equipment.

Position Requirements/Qualifications:

Physical Requirements and Work Environment:

· Mechanical aptitude

· Ability to troubleshoot basic manufacturing equipment

· Can perform all basic TPM tasks

· Ability to comprehend a basic PM checklist

 
Must have experience in one of the following: Three (3) years of experience in industrial manufacturing, aircraft maintenance, agriculture maintenance, OR 3) Military service in a maintenance field.

Preferred (but not necessary)

PLC, advanced mechanical and/or electrical troubleshooting skills and experience.

Allen Bradley PLC experience a plus. PLC, HVAC, Electrical/70E certification
