Overview

Allied Reliability is seeking an experienced Fixed Equipment Engineer with their API 570 certification for a Contract (temporary assignment) position with one of our premier clients located in the Marietta, OH area.  Must have at least 2+ years of relevant experience as well as the API 570 certification to apply. 

 

 

Responsibilities

• Leads continuous improvement initiatives and ensures the effectiveness of the fixed equipment inspection programs.

• Focusing on ASME 31.3 piping and assisting in ASME Section 8 vessels as needed.
• Provides engineering support to the facility to assure targeted reliability performance of processing assets via data collection, failure analysis, and project implementation.
• Assists in identifying and closing program gaps. (Hydro procedure, Circuit consolidation).
• Directs and completes analyses of piping failures using problem solving and root cause analysis techniques.
• Leads and participates in project design, specification, and commissioning to deliver the targeted reliability and maintainability of new and modified assets with respect to life-cycle costs.
• Facility scorecard.
• Adheres to all safety standards, policies, and procedures.

• Other duties as assigned by site Supervisor.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 2 or more years of revelant experience. 

• Must possess a thorough knowledge of mechanical processes, specifically with fixed equipment. 

• Must have experience leading continuous improvement initiatives to support enhanced effectiveness of FE inspection programs. 

• Must have experience with conducting various analyses related to any piping failures in the facility using standard problem soliving and root cause analysis methodologies.

• Must have strong communication skills and the ability to work with other departments and assist and/or lead in projects involving design, specifications and commissioning to ensure optimal reliability and maintenance of new and revitalised assets. 

• A 2 or 4 year degree in a relevant field is highly preferred. 

• Must possess API 570 certification (this is required).
