Millwright Maintenance Mechanic (3rd shift)

Allied Reliability is seeking a Millwright Maintenance Mechanic for a leading producer of roofing granules to perform a variety of craft duties involved in constructing, maintaining and repairing plant facilities that includes a wide range of electrical and mechanical equipment. With qualification, the Millwright will provide electrical support services to the site.

Job Responsibilities:

• As directed, performs activities associated with welding, fabrication, repair, rebuilding, installation and demolition of the plant’s buildings, equipment and machinery
• Responsible for quality of work and the safe operation of all tools and equipment under his/her control
• Responsible for good housekeeping and safety inspection of work area
• May be required to perform other duties as assigned

Core Competencies:

• Ability to work from blueprints, sketches and verbal instructions

• Must demonstrate ability and skill with welding (primarily Stick welding)

• Previous maintenance experience in an industrial setting is required

Completion of a mechanical or electrical proficiency qualification or apprentice program is desired.
