Sanitation Supervisor (3rd Shift)

Allied reliability is seeking a Sanitation Supervisor for a leading manufacturer of private label packaged foods and beverages. The Sanitation Supervisor role at the Dixon location supports sanitation projects, driving and supporting key initiatives to improve performance throughout the plant. 

Responsibilities

• Enforcing all company policies and plant rules, to include but not limited to problem solving, development & implementation of standard operating procedures while maintaining working relationship with the union by following the terms of the collective bargaining agreement.
• Recommending measures to improve sanitation methods, equipment performance, and quality of product and safety environment in the workplace.
• Executing on measurable performance standards for facility sanitation and periodic cleaning
• Resolving personnel problems by analyzing data, investigating issues, identifying solutions, and recommending action which includes administering discipline, corrective action and coaching as needed. 
• Supporting sanitation through development of daily schedules, allocating labor, and adjusting as needed based on resources.
• This is a full-time on-site role supporting 3rd shift plant sanitation needs.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Master Sanitation schedules, pest control, sanitation effectiveness, and environmental monitoring
• Basic understanding of microbiological organisms and their impact on sanitary design
• Strong communication skills at all levels of management
• Previous supervisory experience, especially in a manufacturing environment – sanitary design in food manufacturing is a plus; Extra bonus if you are familiar with aseptic processing
