Overview

Responsible for providing reliability engineering support to client organizations with an emphasis on planning and scheduling of predictive maintenance. Reliability Professionals work independently or as team members to assess, design, train and implement preventive maintenance (PM), Predictive Maintenance (PdM) and reliability continuous improvement programs. Reliability Professionals have diverse experience in organizational management, maintenance and reliability, as well as practical experience in plant reliability and/or maintenance management. These individuals normally have exceptional skills and knowledge in particular areas such as workflow management, PM optimization, maintenance technology and/or reliability continuous improvement through FMEA, RCA, RCM, Life Cycle Cost Analysis, and other statistical methods. Reliability Professionals have expertise in process measurement as it relates to assessing current performance, trending and documenting improvement results. Prepares the necessary reports and provides presentations and training.

 

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES

  • Lead person on multi-resource engagements
  • Accept task direction from Director
  • Subject Matter Expert (SME) on specific reliability areas:
  • Targeted area(s) or expertise
  • General knowledge in maintenance management best practices
  • General knowledge of change management best practices
  • Proactive at contributing to the reliability body of knowledge
  • Proactively seeks out opportunities to cross train in other areas of reliability to broaden current knowledge, skills, and abilities to enhance availability for various client requests.
  • Proficient at Allied Assessment and RES Operations policy, procedures and methods
  • Contribute to development of additional services
  • Feedback to improve existing services
  • Conduct independent assessments and implementations

 

Qualifications

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:

  • Bachelor's degree preferably in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Physics, Mathematics, Business or related fields; may be waived if demonstrated capabilities clearly indicate expertise.
  • Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP) or must be obtained within first year of employment. Other certifications in related fields encouraged. Preference is for persons published in technical and industry publications.
