Allied Reliability is looking for an experienced Payload Operator for a Travel Contract (with potential to become a full time, permanent position) working with one of our premier clients in Stockton, CA. The Payload Operator performs all receiving, storage and shipping duties involving dry bulk products. Maintains the warehouse and all equipment for the safe and efficient storage of bulk products. Exercises utmost effort and care to insure the companies product inventory is preserved and protected at all times.
• Maintain proper product levels in storage hoppers
• Assist, as directed, in vessel discharges, including the monitoring of inbound product into the storage bins and the proper positioning of portable equipment
• Make every effort to minimize product degradation through the proper operation of the pay-loaders.
• When so directed, monitor the condition of all trucks and does not load sub-standard vehicles
• Participate in all mandated safety training and exercises
• Train colleagues in pay-loader operations; cross trains on warehouse forklift operations
• Read, understand and implement the facility manual in all matters pertaining to this job
• Develop a general understanding of the ALS system
• Maintain the warehouse and terminal grounds in a clean, safe and efficient manner at all times
• Maintains the pay-loaders and all other warehouse equipment in a clean, safe and efficient manner at all times. Reports any and all equipment problems to the Facility Manager
• Perform daily loading system check list and reports belt status to appropriate personnel.
• Be responsible for all systems used to load and unload trucks. Daily weekly and monthly checks per operations manual. Also responsible for all cleanup activities in the event of system failure in addition to scheduling or determining what systems need to be cleaned and or serviced.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Facility Manager.
• Maintain Product Stewardship standards for warehouse operations and report as needed when issues are noted
• Systematic Inspections, Safety Walks/WOC’s, 5S/Lean participation
• Carry 40 - 60 lbs. bags
• Use shovel to pick-up heavy cargo
• Pick up heavy material (25-50 lbs.)
• Work at heights up to 40 feet
• Work on feet for several hours, including bending and kneeling
• Wear respiratory protection, in accordance with OSHA 29 CFR Parts 1910 & 1926
• Wear all types of personal protective equipment, including fall protection
• Work outdoors/indoors under extreme temperatures
• Work overtime and work adjusted hours/work days due to schedule changes when there is a need/requirement to deliver on terminal obligations.

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 3 years of terminal experience
• Payload certification
• DOT, PSM, First aid, CPR, Blood borne Pathogen and AED certified
• Hazmat trained to Technician Level
• Strong safety orientation

• Solid process orientation and problem solving skills
• Good maintenance skills
• Good product knowledge
