Condition Monitoring Technician

Allied Reliability is seeking an Condition Monitoring Technician at a manufacturing facility in Dallas, Texas!

• Prepares and documents condition monitoring routes
• Executes condition monitoring routes based on specified frequencies
• Maintains route and equipment reliability historical data
• Responsible for participating in root cause problem elimination activities and assists in managing the program
• Writes notifications in SAP after identifying equipment issues
• Communicates findings to Maintenance Planner, Maintenance Supervisor, production personnel and the Process Improvement Team
• Assists in improving preventive maintenance plans
• Understands how to use condition monitoring reliability tools-vibration pen, infrared camera, temperature gun, ultrasonic tool, etc.
• Other duties may be assigned

Requirements

• Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
• Bachelor’s Degree (B.S. or B.A.) in related field preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
• Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent, and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
• Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
• To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, SAP, Microsoft Access, AutoCAD Lite, Internet Explorer, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word software.
