Maintenance Lead

Allied Reliability is looking for a Maintenance Lead based in Saddle Brook, NJ! Assist building maintenance manager with the tasks and responsibilities associated with the upkeep of the building and production equipment

RESPONSIBILITIES:  

• Use maintenance management software to prepare employee work schedules and assigned tasks
• Verify all safety procedures are followed
• Coordinate activities with other departments to ensure that services are provided in an efficient and timely manner.
• Investigate complaints about facility maintenance/appearance and equipment and take corrective action.
• Inspect and evaluate the physical condition of facilities or equipment to determine the type of work required.
• Monitor and order maintenance supplies as needed.
• Perform the required tasks to ensure all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) are being adhered to.
• Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s)
• Ensure that all cGMP’s are being adhered to (current Good Manufacturing Practices).
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

SKILLS & ABILITIES:

•  Must have basic English oral, written and communication skills.
• Skilled in preventive maintenance measures and trouble shooting.
• Organized and efficient in time management skills.
• Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
• Capable of following all required SOP’s (Standard Operating Procedures) and safety programs.

 PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

•  While performing duties of job, employee is occasionally required to stand, stoop, bend walk (for several hours of the workday) and use hands to handle objects, tools and controls, reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. Employee will be required to handle cleaning chemicals and solvents as required during course of job execution. Employee may be required to move or lift objects exceeding 25 lbs.

EDUCATION / TRAINING

• High School diploma or GED equivalent required. Minimum of 5-7 years of general building maintenance. A combination of vocational training, education and experience that is equivalent to the employment standards listed above and provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
