Lead the E&I Team to work safely to maintain the plant’s DCS and repair all types of plant equipment including substations, transformers and associated switchgear, boilers and its associated electrical and control systems equipment, repair and operation of field controllers, instrumentation, motor control centers and other plant electrical equipment.


  • Perform maintenance on Industrial plant electrical distribution systems.
  • Supervise and set the maintenance program for the testing of low and medium voltage switchgear, circuit breakers, motor starters, and power transformers.
  • Troubleshoot, assess, inspect, adjust, and make repairs, as needed to the Continuous Emissions Monitoring System (CEMS) as well as all facility flow, pressure, temperature, and level instrumentation. This includes but not limited to transmitter flow devices, level controls and temperature measurement equipment.                                                                           
  • Supervise preventative maintenance tasks, including routine calibration, thermography, and ultrasonic testing.
  • Troubleshoot electrical and instrumentation problems and complete all maintenance work records.
  • Actively participate in plant shutdown work including teardown inspection of electrical plant equipment.
  • Performs other duties as deemed necessary.



  • 10+ years in plant operations experience, including 5+ years of prior chemical experience (preferred).
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.                       
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.                                                                      
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements, including OSHA, EPA, etc.                                                                                                     
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Highly organized, with focus on process and time management discipline.
  • Ability to work with people at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines are required.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills are required.
  • Excellent computer skills and attention to detail a must.                       
  • Knowledge of various chemical unit operations.
  • Knowledge and practice of leadership and management abilities.
  • Knowledge of various Electrical and instrumentation equipment and operations.
