Overview

Allied Reliability is searching for Quality Inpectors - First Shift, to work in the Edgefield, MD area. The Quality Inspector is responsible for maintaining quality standards by approving incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products; recording quality results.

Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Approves receiving inspection of materials supplied by sub tier supplies used to produce finished product.
  • Approves visual and dimensional inspections for in process, completed parts and core blanket assemblies in accordance with Alcore and / or customer specifications.
  • Responsible for knowing how to use a verity of inspection tools; Calipers, Micrometers, Depth Micrometers, Scale, Protractor etc.
  • Responsible for blue print reading and interpretation.
  • Responsible for identifying, documenting and segregation of nonconforming materials / product in accordance with procedures.
  • Generate non-conformance reports. Perform release and transfer of accepted product into MRP database (Visual)
  • Perform First Article inspections in accordance with AS9102 standard.
  • Maintain retrieval file system for documented objective evidence of material / product status.
  • Responsible for generating required certifications and supplying documentation package for product shipment.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); two years related work experience; working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel; Visual MRP and Microsoft Access a plus.

Mathematical Skills
Ability to work with basic mathematical concepts and apply concepts such as factions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
