Contract to Permanent (Full Time)


Welding and fabrication of metals as assigned. Develops and maintains a positive professional relationship with all employees. Work environment is consistent with manufacturing; project installation, maintenance activity and grimy work conditions. Must treat people with respect, work ethically, with integrity, accept responsibility for own actions and uphold organization vision, values and objectives. Must work well with coworkers.




  1. Positions, aligns, fits and welds together prefabricated parts.
  2. Develops layouts and plans sequence of operations.
  3. Sets up and operates fabricating machines (e.g. iron worker, brakes, rolls, shears, flame cutters, drill presses).
  4. Designs and constructs templates and fixtures.
  5. Verifies conformance of work piece to specifications.
  6. Fabricates and assembles sheet metal products.


REQUIREMENTS:  Will be required to work overtime as needed from 4-8 hours plus weekends. Must be available to work both first and second shift as needed. May be required to be on call.


  1. Must complete all assigned or projects tasks efficiently and on time.
  2. Have welding and fabricating skill for working with a variety of known metals.
  3. Ability to operate a lathe and milling machine and knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics and electrical trades would be a plus.
  4. Ability to read and understand to act upon blue prints and sketches as well as verbal instructions.
  5. Must have own hand tools.
  6. Have ability to be forklift certified.
  7. Must posses valid Driver’s License and have a good driving record.
  8. Will be required to travel to other divisions as needed.
  9. Must have ability to work with minimum supervision.



  1. Will need to lift 10-75 pounds, occasionally to the height of 4 feet and/or carrying 10 feet.
  2. Must be able to perform all essential functions (e.g. efficient welding and fabricating).
  3. Will be standing/walking throughout shift.



     Must wear uniform and steel toed shoes at all times

  1. Wear back brace, dust mask, safety glasses and gloves when necessary.
  2. Know and follow all safety procedures for each machine or tool used.
  3. Attend all safety training (and the once a month meetings).
  4. Must address safety issues at work station immediately to supervisor.
  5. Must report accidents and injuries within 24 hours to management.
  6. Must follow all safety requirements and training at all times.




Strong welding fabrication background, 3 to 5 years. Must have ability to do all position welding.

Language Skills

Ability to read, analyze and interpret assignments and blue prints. Must have ability to discuss projects with team members and make effective decisions (in English).


Mathematical Skills

Ability to work with mathematical concepts. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to projects.


Reasoning ability

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.  Ability to interpret an extensive variety of blue prints in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.


Must possess the communication skills, both verbal and written, needed to relay information to all other employees in a professional, positive and constructive manner, such that all communication is clear, concise and conclusive (in English).



Must work harmoniously with all personnel, including all other departments, and follow all company rules, regulations and procedures.


Project Management

Must be able to manage multiple projects and efficiently complete them in a timely manner.
