Allied Reliability is currently seeking an experienced Vibration Technician that will provide vibration analysis within a predictive maintenance/condition-based monitoring manufacturing environment. This individual will collect data, provide analysis and be responsible for preparing the necessary technical reports for presentation to maintenance leadership. The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of the pulp & paper industry and possess a vibration certification (can be level I – IV).


  • Be a daily presence on the plant floor during administrative hours
  • Validate maintenance field inspection reports, based on company procedures
  • Collect relevant data in the field utilizing appropriate measuring instruments (vibration, temperature, noise, photographic and thermographic images)
  • Vibration analysis and equipment diagnosis with high complexity offline and online
  • Vibration system management (alarms/alerts condition and condition of the system itself)
  • Perform the measurement and diagnosis of low speed equipment using the set of multi parameters like (Vibration, Acoustic Emission, Lubricant Analysis, per company Slow Speed Bearing Monitoring procedures)
  • Elaborate and share condition and risk assessment reports
  • Post maintenance inspections
  • Supervise alignment and balancing activities


  • Prior experience with vibration analysis
  • Possess a vibration certification (level I - IV)
  • Experience within the pulp & paper industry strongly preferred
