Overview

Maintain quality standards by approving incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products; recording quality results.

Responsibilities

Approves receiving inspection of materials supplied by sub tier supplies used to produce finished product.

 

Approves visual and dimensional inspections for in process, completed parts and core blanket assemblies in accordance with Alcore and / or customer specifications.

 

Responsible for knowing how to use a verity of inspection tools; Calipers, Micrometers, Depth Micrometers, Scale, Protractor etc.

 

Responsible for blue print reading and interpretation.

 

Responsible for identifying, documenting and segregation of nonconforming materials / product in accordance with procedures.

 

Generate non-conformance reports. Perform release and transfer of accepted product into MRP database (Visual)

 

Perform First Article inspections in accordance with AS9102 standard.

 

Maintain retrieval file system for documented objective evidence of material / product status.

 

Responsible for generating required certifications and supplying documentation package for product shipment.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); in combination with one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

 

COMPUTER SKILLS

While perform the duties of this job, the employee requires knowledge of basic computer skills such as, Microsoft Word, and Excel. Additional knowledge of how a MRP system is utilize. Microsoft Access is a plus.
