The Maintenance Planner will coordinate the work for a team of maintenance technicians in the areas of safety, quality and maintenance for all equipment in order to meet the department and unit goals.
Developing and maintaining an in-depth knowledge of appropriate company and regulatory rules, procedures, and policies, assuring proper execution of all safety related permits required for maintenance activities.
Managing the maintenance work order process including: work request approval, prioritization, cost effectiveness, recording labor changes, preventative maintenance, and work order completion.
Providing reports to Unit Managers for work order backlog, work history for equipment, and preventative maintenance work status.
Developing and preparing work outlines and schedules for daily, weekly, monthly and shutdown work.
Implementing preventative and predictive maintenance programs within System Analysis Program (SAP) to achieve reliability and cost targets.
Plan and schedule corrective and preventive maintenance activities by task and priority level.
Manage spare parts and alignment between the maintenance department and storeroom.
Degree and experience are preferred
Strong planning, organizing, and time management skills. Experience in setting priorities and executing multiple assignments in a timely and efficient manner
