The position is a full-time, exempt role that reports to the Unit Manager. The Green Side Superintendent is a key member of the Dodson leadership team. The position is responsible for process management in the areas of safety, quality, productivity, cost, and continuous improvement in green lumber manufacturing from the log deck to the stacker, including scale house, filing and maintenance. Additionally, the Green Side Superintendent leads the team by driving people development processes, proactively resolving employee issues in a non-union environment, building team-work, and ensuring adherence to all applicable site policies and procedures in a fair and consistent manner.
