Overview

We are looking for a Warehouse Team lead to oversee and monitor the operations of component, raw material and finished goods movement at both company warehouse facilities.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for warehouse compliance of all cGMP (current Good Manufacturing Practices) and Company issued SOP’s (Standard Operating Procedures).
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse personnel engaged in verifying and maintaining records for incoming shipments, outgoing shipments, and inventoried materials.
  • Make recommendation and monitor for any safety related issues.
  • Ensures all material movement, bulk, finished goods, components, raw materials are properly inventoried and labeled using the prescribed methods of compliance.
  • Ensure that all inventory is properly tagged and labeled using LPN (License Plate Numbering) system as required.
  • Coordinate the movement of finished bulk as production requirements and/or shipping requirements as instructed by the Customer Service and Planning Departments.
  • Coordinate with Production to ensure all components are being deliver on time with no down time.
  • Maintain and verify all documentation relating to incoming shipments of all materials, raws, and miscellaneous supplies.
  • Verify and supervise the continuous use of the First in / First out (FIFO) method of accountability.
  • Monitor warehouse facilities to ensure that all supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas are clean, sanitized (as required) to ensure compliance with safety regulations and company procedures.
  • Monitor the “Quarantine” area for inventory awaiting release for prompt processing into released rack locations.
  • Makes recommendations on achieving maximum efficient capacity of warehouse space.
  • Provides ongoing training to warehouse workers and problem resolution as required.
  • Interacts with other support functions to ensure production requirements are met on time with total accuracy.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Basic mathematical skills required, including knowledge of metric conversions.
  • Knowledge of use of radio frequency devices (RF scanners).
  • Basic Computer proficiency.
  • Must communicate effectively using Basic English communication and written skills
  • Time Management; the ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
  • Individual must be able to operate and train warehouse employees in equipment such as but not limited to; pallets jacks, forklifts, drum movement equipment.

EDUCATION / TRAINING

  • High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum 5 years’ supervisory experience in chemical warehouse and/or manufacturing environment of cosmetics/personal care products.
