Perform preventive maintenance inspections (PM’s) on various plant equipment.
Repair discrepancies found during the accomplishment of PM’s.
Maintain CMMS database.
Maintain part inventory for the accomplishment of PM’s.
Respond to any safety or emergency situations if they arise.
May be required to perform duties of a lower classification or other duties as company workload dictates.
Occasionally operate industrial truck or electric hoist in performance of work.
May be required to work all shifts and overtime as required.
A solid background in general equipment maintenance and repair.
Ability to operate industrial truck or electric hoist in performance of work.
Ability to perform frequent lifting, pushing and pulling of 30-50 lbs.
Ability to crawl below stands or equipment, stoop, bend and kneel in performance of work.
Ability to effectively communicate with peers, subordinates, supervisors and management personnel as required.
Ability to work flexible hours and staggered shifts as deemed necessary, based on production requirements.
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent;
Degree in maintenance related field desirable.
Experience: Two years of experience in general equipment repair.
Experience in operating and maintaining a CMMS database is desirable.
Critical Skills – Skilled in the use of multimeters, megohmmeters, and precision measurement equipment.
Background in CNC equipment maintenance, and the ability to read wiring diagrams/schematics is a big plus.
