  • Overview

    The scope of this person’s work will be to perform confidential administrative functions in support of the HR department, requiring knowledge and/or experience in related functions of the department (i.e. talent acquisition, employment laws, benefits administration, personnel records, employee and/or labor relations, and other projects as needed).  This position will handle highly confidential and sensitive information, and will interact with a diverse group of internal and external contacts. 

    Qualifications

    Qualifications for this position include:

    • Candidates must identify any relatives working for the client at the Springerville Generating Station.  (Note:  Having no relatives is preferred, however HR will take this into consideration and make that determination.)
    • Considerable knowledge and experience in HR related functions (i.e. talent acquisition, employment laws, personnel records, and employee and/or labor relations). 
    • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite.  Experience using Human Resource Management Systems (HRMS) preferred.
    • The ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups.
    • Strong organizational skills, continual attention to detail and accuracy, and ability to meet deadlines.
    • The ability to maintain Confidentiality is an absolute must.

    A high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations. Position continually requires demonstrated poise, tact and diplomacy
