ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES
Education/Certification: Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Physics, Mathematics, Business or related fields; may be waived if demonstrated capabilities clearly indicate expertise.
Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP) within first 6 months.
Published in technical or trade journals
Required Knowledge: Knowledge of business management practices and financial reporting
Knowledge of machinery fundamentals
Strong understanding of predictive and preventative maintenance processes.
Working knowledge of condition monitoring technologies, including oil analysis, thermography, motor current analysis and ultrasonics, and their integration with vibration analysis.
Experience Required: Ten years or more directly related reliability experience.
Skills/Abilities: Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills; expected to present at conferences and support business development activities.
Expected to Publish in technical or trade journals.
Able to conduct internal training.
Flexibility in development and delivery methods or processes and procedures to enhance marketability.
Proficient computer skills. Able to use MS Office suite, MS Project and other software tools with training.
Technical or industry organization leadership preferred; participation expected.
Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Able to work well independently and as a team.
Frequent travel; should be able to drive and fly as routine part of assignments
