Currently seeking a Machinery Planner in La Porte, TX
Completes field planning package per specific scope documentation and TA machinery group input.
Reviews equipment BOMs for completeness, cost, and lead times; identifies needs for maintenance scope, and start-up spares.
Participates in contractor selection and kick-off for onsite, offsite scope, as well as machining support for both onsite and offsite.
Develops plans for logistics, parts inspection, and part management.
Develops execution resource requirements and high-level machinery execution schedule.
Executes field planning per package requirements including but not limited to:
tagging turnaround items in the field;
annotating package drawings;
completing package data sheets as applicable to assigned packages (e.g., tagged equipment data sheets, activity plan data sheets, labor and material resource data sheets, scaffold and insulation plan data sheets, weld plan data sheets, testing and documentation data sheets, blinding plan data sheets, etc.); and
developing field isometric drawings per package specifications.
Assembles field planning documents per package specification for quality review. Identifying potential technical follow-ups/procedures as needed.
Completes package field planning requirements checklist.
Participates in package field walk downs.
Participates in project P&ID, field, plan, schedule, and constructability reviews as required.
Contributes to in building the turnaround machinery estimating.
Creates requisitions for procurement of needed scope materials.
Plans commissioning details of rotating equipment per API 686.
Installation, partial commissioning – Pre-TA
Final installation, and final commissioning - TA
Computer programs proficiency:
SAP (strongly preferred)
P6 scheduling (preferred)
