  • Overview

    Field Services Leaders have a direct focus on employee management responsibilities as it relates to Operations administration and provide significant contributions to the formulation, development, implementation, and administration of Operations policies and business goals.  Ensures the quality control and verification of company’s operations, communications, deliverables, reporting, and financial processes.  Develops policies, procedures, and training plans to ensure efficient and effective operations.  Supervises and appraises the activities of employees to ensure that all services are professionally delivered.  Supports and ensures customer satisfaction.






    1. Assumes responsibility for the development and implementation of effective Operations planning.


    1. As part of the Operations team, assists with long and short-term Operations planning.
    2. Executes established goals and ensures that corporate-wide plans are complemented and supported. Develops and implements Operations plans, policies, and goals that further strategic objectives.
    3. Monitors budgets. Manages and oversees expenses.
    4. Ensures the security of information systems and the recording of all required documents and reports. Manages and implements special projects and/or changes to on going projects, as required.
    5. Ensures that Operations functions are well coordinated with other organizational functions and with related departments.
    6. Keeps VP of Operations informed of Operations activities, progress toward established objectives, and of any significant problems.
    7. Attends and participates in meetings and committees, as appropriate.
    8. Completes required reports and documents in a timely fashion.


    1. Assumes responsibility for ensuring effective and efficient operations.


    1. Works one-on-one with clients, managers, technicians and analysts to ensure that Operations services are delivered in accordance with established company standards, policies, and procedures.
    2. Conducts periodic reviews of existing systems and procedures. Provides recommendations regarding improvements in service delivery, processes, and equipment needs which will further the company’s objectives and/or the customer’s goals.
    3. Ensures that applicable laws and regulations are strictly adhered to.
    4. Evaluates the Operations Department’s effectiveness through analyses of Department activity, on-site inspections, and other measurable criteria.


    1. Ensures that all quality control functions are properly maintained, including the integrity of records, database information, software, and the validation of data processing products and processes.


    1. In coordination with Operations team, ensures quality of services delivered is effective and appropriate.
    2. Interfaces with accounting personnel to coordinate activities including the verification of billings, time submissions, expense reports and periodic reporting as required.
    3. Drives Safety Program through motivation, training, behavioral observations, counseling and enforcement.


    1. Effectively supervises personnel, ensuring optimal performance.


    1. Provides leadership to Operations personnel through effective objective setting, delegation, and communication. Conducts staff meetings as required. Directs, schedules, and coordinates Group functions.
    2. Ensures that personnel are well trained, effective, and optimally used. Instruct personnel regularly regarding policy, procedure, and program changes.
    3. Conducts performance appraisals as required. Formulates and implements corrective actions as needed. Recommends changes in the status of Operations staff, including promotions, transfers, and salary adjustments.
    4. Ensures that staffing levels are appropriate and that assigned resources are effectively utilized. Conducts interviews and shares responsibility for hiring personnel, as needed, with prior approval.


    1. Responsible for ensuring that professional business relationships are established and maintained with customers, vendors, the business community, trade organizations and ARG.


    1. Ensures that all work areas are clean, secure, and well maintained.
    2. Stays informed of trends and changes in the Operations field.
    3. Completes special projects as assigned.




    • Full detailed understanding of the machinery components and application using Condition Analysis & Performance Evaluation for Compressors & Engines
    • Able to understand Thermodynamic theory when performing compressor performance testing.
    • Ability to learn to discuss and educate prospective and current customers (internal and external) on Compressor Valve Analysis theory and application, Engine Balancing services, B- Probe Services, Vibration and Motion Amplification techniques.
    • Machinery knowledgeable and understanding of Rotating Equipment Analysis
    • Knowledgeable in Routine Analysis & Predictive Maintenance Programs
    • Requires a strong mechanical background, and a thorough knowledge of diesel, gas engine and compressor operations and mechanics.



    Education/Certification:           Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Project Management Professional certification preferred or ability to obtain within first 6 months.


    Required Knowledge:                   Knowledge of personnel management required. Additional working knowledge of reliability processes to include RCM, root cause, workflow, scheduling & planning, PM’s and PdM technologies desired.


           Experience Required:                      8-10 years of experience in personnel management, preferably with a remote workforce. 3-5 years demonstrated budget management experience.

                                                                            Experienced with reciprocating equipment, either in its construction, maintenance and/or analytics and troubleshooting.

    Skills/Abilities:                                Excellent communication, interpersonal, and supervisory abilities.

                                                                    Strong project management skills. Project Management Professional certification preferred.

                                                                    Proficient technical communication (verbal and written) with internal and external resources.

                                                                    Ability to deliver a training class for up to 20 students.

                                                                    Solid leadership abilities.

                                                                    Well organized.
