    The client is a global automotive and industrial supplier, is seeking an Condition Monitoring Service Engineer for the Industrial Americas region in Fort Mill, SC. This position is responsible for the successful execution and project management of Industry 4.0 Applications’ service agreement and contracts with customers through utilization of Condition Monitoring technologies and Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) system interfaces.

    Responsibilities

    Key responsibilities include but not limited to:


    • Provide, deliver and support Condition Monitoring services (Vibration, Thermography, Lubrication, Motor & Current Signature Analysis, Ultrasonic and Acoustic Emission Testing)

    • Responsible in project management (project quality, costs and time schedules) of service agreement and contracts with customers

    • Conduct classroom and on-site training courses in machine condition monitoring

    • Support the sales team in product technical assistance and support

    • Conduct application reviews and technical specifications in support of sales quotations

    • Work according to total quality management principles, ensuring zero defect objectives & safety, customer satisfaction and reaching the agreed key performance indicators

    Qualifications


    Qualified candidates will have:


    • Bachelor’s Degree in mechanical, electrical engineering, or related field of study


    • Five (5) years’ experience on machine application, maintenance & engineering, reliability engineering and condition monitoring of machines



    • Knowledge and skills in vibration measurement and analysis.  Local and/or global certification in vibration analysis following the ASNT, ISOC. Other knowledge in special techniques in machine diagnostics such as in modal analysis, operational deflection shapes, turbomachinery, recip-monitoring or pump performance services preferred.



    • Good planning & scheduling, time management, coordination, communication, interpersonal, networking, presentation and problem solving negotiation skills.



    • Desire to teach others and facilitate working groups.



    • Strong analytical skills and detail orientation.
