  • Overview

    The Sales Representative will work with the Sales Team to provide direct support in the development of existing and prospective clients and meet its growth targets. The SR will focus on selling educational events, qualifying incoming leads, generating new leads, supporting conference and trade show logistics.

    Responsibilities

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES

    Sell educational events to existing and new customers.
    Prepare action plans and schedules to identify specific targets and to project the number of contacts to be made.
    Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field marketing and sales activity.
    Follow up on developing NBO’s (New Business Opportunities).
    Identify sales prospects and contact these and other accounts as assigned.
    Prepare client proposals for identified private training offerings.
    Identify and assist in the resolution of client issues.
    Prepare and submit a variety of status reports, including activity, closings, follow-up, and adherence to goals.
    Participate in sales management meetings and take responsibility for assigned activities
    Maintain up-to-date information on all client interactions within the company’s (CRM).
    Oversee logistics of trade shows and conferences.
    Other duties as assigned

    Education and Experience
    4 year college degree in business or marketing preferred
    Desired: relevant internship in business setting on degree focus
    1-2 years in a customer “interfacing” role (retail, business to business, hospitality, etc.)
    Business to Business phone based experience preferred
