  • Overview

    The Service Technician is expected to focus on the Company safety goal of zero accidents by helping to continually improve safety standards. This includes active participation in safety meetings, ensuring all safety guide lines are followed for each site/job and suggesting safety or procedural improvements as able. In addition, compliance with the safety standards and rules of the host facility/customer must also be adhered to.

    Responsibilities

    Essential responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    Provides preventative and corrective shop and field service on lubrication equipment

    Assists with scheduled and unscheduled equipment installations, repairs and maintenance service on site at client locations and in T.F. Hudgins shop

    Ability to understand how to use equipment related to installation and maintenance of lubrication equipment supplied by T.F. Hudgins

    Understands and accurately follows instructions either by Senior Technician or Management in mounting procedures for all components

    Competent to work from drawings with a minimum of supervision

    Assists Senior Technicians in all areas as needed

    Represents T.F. Hudgins, Incorporated in a professional manner at all times

    Capable of working independently, if necessary, at routine field service projects

    Follows all Health, Safety and Environmental procedures

    Routinely attends company safety meetings, production and safety meetings, and all site specific/off-site training as required.

    Successfully participates in drug and alcohol testing pool, which requires pre-access, random, and post-incident testing.

    Successfully maintains TWIC credentialing as required by customers

    Is dedicated to customer service, and maintains professional working relationships with customers and co-workers.

    Performs JSAs (Job Safety Analysis) as required at each job site, according to company or customer procedures

    Assists any other department for the good of the Company.

    Qualifications

    Must be able to travel and work remotely - sometimes for extended periods

    Requires ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds, climb on and work on large equipment, and use hand tools

    This position requires the use of PPE, such as steel toe boots, safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, and any other device required by customers

    Regular, reliable attendance is an essential function of this position.
