    We currently have an immature quality program that needs to be completely revamped and developed to take us to the next level. We are looking for an extremely detail oriented, organized, methodical person with experience in the rotating equipment repair business, preferably someone coming from an electric motor repair shop.   This candidate must be a self-starter with the desire to completely change the direction of our existing quality program. 

    Responsibilities

    Some of the job responsibilities:

     

    • Oversee day to day operations related to quality and repair business conformance to IEM procedures and customer specifications
    • Continuously improve quality of product and documentation
    • Continuously improve proper repair procedures that coincide with customer specifications
    • Continuously improve training program for shop personnel to improve quality and production performance
    • Develop internal technology for improved efficiency and quality standards
    • Maintain equipment calibrations
    • Compile and submit reports to customers
    • Lead RCFA and report internally and/or externally
    • Develop, track, and report on KPI’s regarding quality and safety
    • Support Production Manager with technical requirements
    • Support Field Service department with on-site technical requirements
    • Work with Production Manager to improve shop efficiency through 5S, lean, and best in class repair practices

    Qualifications

    • Exceptional computer skills are a mandatory requirement. 
    • Experience in the rotating equipment
    • Strong in the basic software and have the ability to learn new software very quickly. 
    • Extremely detail oriented, organized, methodical person 
    • Preferably someone coming from an electric motor repair shop
    • The person must have a broad understanding of electrical and mechanical theory. 
    • It would be nice to get someone with an electrical engineering degree, but thats not a requirement. 
    • There are a lot of Navy Nuclear guys out there that may be perfect for this position.
