The strategic sales and service organization is tasked with strengthening our focus on the rotating equipment performance (REP) value proposition at strategic end users. They are responsible to increase overall sales to strategic end users in the pulp and paper, metals and mining industries. This is accomplished by leveraging our service relationship to enable core product and service sales.


  • Sales Development
  • High level sales to strategic industries using SKF bearings, seals and other solutions to leverage the relationship.
  • Must be able to differentiate SKF from other product and service solutions and Challenge the customers standard way of doing business.


  • Regional Account Management
  • Maintains and builds customer relationships
  • Participates in project management, operational reviews of key regional projects / contracts
  • Prospects and develops new business opportunities
  • Captures and sells customer value via DSP
  • Creates customer driven proposals
  • Manages Account profitability


  • Responsible to report business progress through development of strategic business plans, account plans, and forecasts through the business tools provided, ensuring business goals are met.


  • Coordinates team selling efforts, managing resources – Team leaders, Site leaders, technical support teams


  • Work in a Team environment providing sales lead and support for all platform Team members


  • Manages Account profitability


  • Executes strategic sales and service plan



Qualifications Needed: 

  • Experience with customer needs analysis and customer value based selling, with experience selling solutions and closing large complex sales.
  • Highly desirable qualities include: Passionate about selling, creates customer loyalty and credibility, a self-starter, tenacious, enthusiastic, works comfortably under pressure with deadlines, creative and innovative.
  • Individual must have excellent written and verbal communications skills, ability to deal effectively with customers and sales teams, problem solving skills, computer skills, organizational and time management skills.
  • Willingness to work with flexible hours and travel (approximately 70%) is expected.
  • Possess a working knowledge of Condition Monitoring, Reliability Maintenance, Enterprise Asset Management, and Computerized Maintenance Management Systems. 
  • Experience in the Pulp and Paper, Metals and Mining, is preferred 
  • A bachelor's degree in discipline of engineering or business, and 3 or more years of related sales, marketing, product management, or asset management experience, or equivalent with 3 to 5 years of reliability or maintenance sales experience is preferred.
