The Master Mechanic performs mechanical and electrical tasks with proven skill working with hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, fabrication, pumps, motors, AC/DC theory, PLC’s and other various craft related areas as needed.
Qualifications: The applicant should hold the following abilities:
Three to five years of relative work related experience.
The ability to properly use hand and shop tools (example mechanic tools, welding tools etc).
Good written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work with others.
Good trouble shooting skills in mechanical and electrical areas.
Be able to read and write mechanical and electrical blueprints.
Basic computer skills are required.
Maintain regular attendance on site and have the ability to work varying shifts or overtime as needed.
You must be able to be certified in Elevated Work and Fall Protection, Confined Space Supervisor & Entrant Duties and Fork Lift operation. Project leadership and planning skills are beneficial.
