  • Overview

    We're seeking a Senior Reliability Engineer to help develop, guide, and maintain the processes used to manage the maintenance, performance and health of our manufacturing equipment. In this role you will have the opportunity to participant in diverse activities such as, strategic planning, implementing tactical initiatives, problem solving, developing and delivering training materials, and coaching and mentoring others.

    Day-to-Day Role:

    • Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of a life cycle asset management process for components, equipment, and processes at all facilities
    • Troubleshoot, analyze, identify, evaluate, propose, implement, and document maintenance plans and performance metrics; failure, analysis, and corrective action procedures; equipment capacities and risks; and other engineering solutions
    • Lead the development and implementation of preventive, predictive, autonomous, and reliability centered maintenance plans
    • Lead investigation of root-cause for repetitive damage and failure rates
    • Lead change in equipment risk management and reliability processes
    • Develop and implement analysis methods for determining reliability of components, equipment, and processes
    • Oversee the review and analysis of engineering designs, and determine if proposed design modifications will achieve reliability and efficiency objectives
    • Evaluate, recommend, and acquire tools for use, including process analysis software, and other physical tools and resources specific to reliability and maintenance improvement
    • Establish continuous improvement plans where efficiency, quality, safety, or service can be improved
    • Coach and lead manufacturing maintenance and production staff 


    Core Skills and Qualifications:

    The ideal Senior Reliability Engineer candidate must possess all of the following:

    • Requires one of the following:
      • Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in engineering or related field of study and six (6) years of related engineering experience
      • Associate’s degree and twelve (12) years of related engineering experience
    • Experience developing and implementing Preventative Maintenance (PM) and Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) programs
    • Experience applying Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA)
    • Ability to travel up to 40% domestic and international with periods of travel up to 75%
    • Ability to obtain and maintain a valid driver’s license and passport

    Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

    • Maintenance Reliability Professional Certification (CMRP)
    • Certifications in Predictive Maintenance Technologies
    • Experience using Computer Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
    • Experience with SAP
    • Experience working with plastics extrusion, thermoforming, injection molding, paper printing and/or paper converting processes
    • Bachelor’s degree
