This position is responsible for development and implementation of capital projects that are identified to support productivity plans and reliability improvement. These projects are designed to support on-going cost reduction, efficiency improvements, and safety and quality enhancement strategies in a continuous improvement environment.
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following; other duties may be assigned.
To perform this position successfully, an individual must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and interact with the many vendors and suppliers involved in these projects. The successful Project Engineer will manage bid walks, request for information, and scope of work development on all projects. Once the projects are scoped and approved, Project Engineer will ensure standards are met and funding is allocated according to the approved annual capital plan.
