Maintain a high level of quality repair and preventative maintenance on all assigned equipment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
On all assigned equipment and vehicles:
Diagnose and repair:
Fuel systems (gas & diesel)
Power Train Systems
Electrical Systems (12 & 24 volt)
Pin & Bushings for buckets and frames
Large and small bore engines (gas & diesel)
Final drives & differentials
Pumps and Motors
Perform all duties and responsibilities of Mechanic “B”.
Perform any other duty or responsibility, pertaining to repair and rebuild, not listed above, but
requested by the Mobile Shop Supervisor.
Demonstrate and maintain behaviors that proactively support safe work practices while recognizing and communicating conditions of potential risk.
ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Coordinate safety and technical training.
Operate and use all special tools required for repairs.
Repair Harbor boat engines and other major components as required.
All duties and responsibilities required of Mechanic “B”.
Subject to call out and overtime as necessary to support equipment outage.
JOB RELATED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
QUALIFICATIONS: Valid driver’s license and TWIC required.
